Melbourne: Parminder Singh,24, an hospitality student from India was badly bashed up in his taxi on Friday in Narre Warren South on Friday (5 June) evening for asking fare from his passengers. Talking to SBS Radio Hindi program (Sunday, 7 Juane) Parminder said, “I took three passangers from Berrik to Narre Warren South and when asked for remaining fare (some was given in advance) was punched by one of the passengers. In this attack two of my tooth were broken and blood started oozing out. The attacker also abused me and used bad language and said it is your turn now”
” I escaped from the place of attack and then went to the police station where a report was lodged and necessary things done. Later I went to hospital where for two hours no one attended me and then someone came to see me and said we do not have a dentist to attend to you.”
‘ It was only later after many hours I got treatment for my tooth”, Parminder told SBS Radio.

That is how the emergency department works here in australia. As long as the condition is not life threatening you(including australians) have to wait sometimes for up to 3 hours to see a doctor. I don’t understand why Mr. Parminder Singh can’t wait? or is it the media trying to promote hatred and racism. and by the way i am an Indian student myself who has waited for 3 hours not once but on a few occasions along with native australians in the same waiting room.
