RMIT student protest against guards sacking

MELBOURNE,28 June: A large number of Indian and other students of the RMIT, Melbourne held a protest rally in the city against the sacking of students who work as guards. The students allege the sacking happened after a contractor was changed and he sacked many Indian/South Asian students. The protesters allege ‘racism’ in the sacking.

The largely attended protest rally was organized by the United Voice and the Migrant Workers Centre.
