MELBOURNE, 10 March, 2024: The International Women’s Day 2024, continues to reverberate across Melbourne. Urban Vegas’s ‘Celebrating Women in Business’ today at the Rendezvous Hotel, CBD was amazing and honoured talented women in different businesses from diverse professions.  The hotel’s Victorian architecture added typical flavour to the event’s colourfully decorated area.

Rubbing shoulders with women of prominence on their day was an exclusive celebration. The electrifying atmosphere laced with defining inclusion and talk, the evening with panelists, Emily Quattrocchi (Short film Director) Simi Ryat (psychologist) and Todd Anthony (fashion consultant) provided deep emotional insights into how women perceive society and  issues they face.

Todd Anthony said the fashion industry was changing, but it was 75-80 per cent women who were in it and we do well. And that Artificial Intelligence was now being used as a magnificent tool  in multiple areas of the fashion industry, she said.

The gathering was addressed by keynote speakers Greater Dandenong Mayor Cr. Lana Formoso, Ellen Lizzie Lozano, CG El Salvador, and CG of Malaysia En. Nik Mohammad.

Lana Formoso said, we have to empower women to have them their life. Nick Mohammad said, women are the pillars of the nation.  Ellen Lizzie Lozano said, it was good to celebrate the achievements of women in history.

The highlight of the function was the 2024 International Women’s Day Awards Ceremony where professional women leaders in different professions were honoured and awarded.

The canapes, drinks, the vibrant Latin dance, the lucky draw,  and networking made it a fit potpurie of celebrating the International Women’s Day 2024. Kavita Chabra’s excellent event management and lovely smiles were the ones that were appreciated. No doubt, it was an event never to be forgotten.
