
MELBOURNE, 17 April, 2026: The Greens, Australia third largest party, has relaunched its think tank ‘Greens Institute’ led by new Executive Director Max Chandler-Mather, with a “with a new mission: to help build the movement we need to replace establishment politics and ensure everyone has what they need to live a comfortable, meaningful life, free of financial and housing stress.”

The tax-payer funded Greens Institute is the official research and policy think tank associated with the Australian Greens. Founded in 2008, it is an associated entity of the party and functions as a non-profit organisation supporting green politics through education, policy development, research, strategy, training, and movement-building
