Indian High Commissioner presented Nepalese Guru Nanak coins

MELBOURNE, 13 November 2022: The Indian High Commissioner in Australia, HE Mr. Manpreet Vohra today was today presented commemorative Guru Nanak coins released by Nepal three years back. He was visiting the Blackburn Sikh Temple along with the Indian Consul in Melbourne, HE Mr. Sushil Kumar among others. A set of three coins were presented to Mr. Vohra by Mr. Chandra Yonzon Hon. Consul General of Nepal to Victoria. The Indian High Commissioner addressed the congregation:

The devotees were also addressed by Mr. Chandra Yonzon, Mr. Sushil Kumar, and the Sikh Temple officials. The gathering included members and influencers in the Indian and Nepalese communities. Activists from different political parties, community organizations, Temple officials, devotees, the Sikh community, and invitees attended the function. Later many joined ‘Langar (community eating) sitting on the floor.
