Diaspora : IOC facilitates Punjab Cong leader S. Singh Cheema

MELBOURNE, 10 2026: The Indian Overseas Congress (IOC) today organised a meet-and-greet with S. Singh Cheema Ex MLA Sultanpur Lodhi, Punjab. The function was  attended by local IOC members and supporters. It was a meaningful and engaging interaction where members shared their valuable perspectives and discussed strategies for forming the next government in the upcoming elections in Punjab.

Mr. Cheema discussed the political situation in Punjab and the upcoming elections in the state. The meeting was productive, inspiring, and focused on strengthening unity, community engagement, and a collective vision for the future.

The meeting was graced by the presence of National Vice President Sukhbir Singh Sandhu ,President Punjab Harpreet Singh Dod, General Secretary Taranjeet Gill, Spokesman & Secretary Ajwinder Johal, President Victoria Punjab Chapter Kawarpratap Singh, Youth President Victoria Punjab Chapter Bikram Sandhu, Gurdeep Singh, Mohinderpal Singh, along with several other senior Congress members and supporters.
