‘Parshuram’ statue installed at the ‘Kali Mandir’

MELBOURNE, 9 May 2026: A statue of ‘Sri Parshuram Bhagwan’, was installed at the Kali temple, Craigieburn, with fanfare and reverence. The event organised by the ‘Sarva Bhraman Mahasabha Association’ was attended by a large number of devotees from across Melbourne and nearby suburbs. The atmosphere was devotional and full of enthusiasm.

A ‘Shobha Yatra’ (procession with the statue) was taken out endingh at the Kali temple and then rituals including ‘Havan’ were performed as the devotees settled for the event. The importance of the function was delivered by a priest aa many more joined those present.

The organisers then after devotional songs, ‘Pran Pratishta’ and ‘Havan’  mixed with the devotees and ‘Prasad’ was distributed along with Indian tea. This was followed by networking and visiting other parts of the temple.
