Impact of COVID-19 and delays:

Unfortunately, delays have occurred due to COVID-19. Petra Neeleman, the Executive Director of MiCare stated “ the past two years have had such an impact on aged care, apart from the issues with staffing and constant lockdowns, we are also facing construction material shortages, this has put so much pressure on aged care.” The whole industry is facing the same issues however MiCare is keen to continue with its growth plan as soon as possible.”

Vasan Srinivasan from the AICCT states, “the Indian community is very eager to see the development of the Home in Noble Park but fully understands the reasons for the delay.” He added ‘We all hope that everyone is safe and well and that we recover from COVID-19 quickly”.
