MELBOURNE, 5 August, 2026: Viewers have been enjoying Season 1, of Musafir Cafe. Now, Netflix has announced the second season of its romantic drama series Musafir Cafe, created and written by Sharanya Rajgopal.
The new season will continue the stories of Chander, Sudha and Preeti, exploring love, relationships and the unresolved questions left by the first chapter. Netflix India Series Head Tanya Bami said the show had sparked widespread conversations about its ending, characters, dialogues and music.
Rajgopal said the overwhelming response from viewers had encouraged her to continue the story, describing Season 2 as a “love letter” to audiences who connected with the characters.
Directed by Ruchir Arun and based on characters from Divya Prakash Dubey’s novel, Musafir Cafe is produced by Terribly Tiny Tales and Homemade Stories. The series stars Vikrant Massey, Vedika Pinto, Mahima Makwana, Adil Hussain, Rajeev Siddhartha, Anubha Fatehpuria, Loveleen Mishra and Sadia Siddiqui. Netflix has not yet announced a release date.
